Discoloration on Meat :

Since this product is frozen and vacuum-sealed, discoloration (brownish-grey) might occur due to the deoxygenation of myoglobin in the meat which turns it into metmyoglobin / deoxymyoglobin. The meat will slowly return to its original color once it is in contact with oxygen. As long as the product is still in its frozen state and there is no unusual stench after opening the package, the product is perfectly safe to consume.
