Why is Spanish Iberico the "Wagyu of Pork"?

Ordinary ham or pork products are usually pale pink or white in color, while Iberico pork is often deep red and marbled with fat. It looks more like raw beef than pork. The renowned Spanish Iberico Pork has a snowflake marbling pattern. Its rich and unique nutty flavour crowned it as the "Wagyu of Pork".

Presa pork is a cut of meat in between the shoulder and loin of a pig. It is usually oval in shape, well-marbled, and therefore tender in texture.
