Preparation Guidelines

• Thawing: Slowly defrost in refrigerator or cold water immersion. Avoid microwaving/hot water to prevent texture damage.

• Cleaning: Rinse under running water, then blanch in boiling water for 1 second. Drain immediately (removes腥味 while preserving crispness).

Recommended Recipes

1. Garlic Stir-fry (Top Home-style Choice)
Steps:
a) Sauté minced garlic and ginger slices in sesame oil until fragrant.
b) Add Orchid Clams + 1 tbsp soy sauce/oyster sauce + ½ tbsp sugar + splash of rice wine.
c) Stir-fry over high heat for 5 seconds. Add Thai basil/scallions before turning off heat.
Tip: Add chili peppers for spice. Finish with a drizzle of vinegar to enhance freshness.

2. Hot Pot/Quick-Boil Soup

• Place clams into boiling broth/soup. Remove within seconds when color changes. Serve with seafood dipping sauce.
